We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a popular primary school in Berkhamsted. This is a fantastic part-time opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children''s learning and development.

The role:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils across different ability levels
• Assist with planning, preparation of learning materials, and classroom organisation
• Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment
• Support pupils'' social and emotional development, as well as academic progress
• Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to support pupil achievement

The ideal candidate will:

• Have proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting (essential)
• Be confident supporting phonics, reading, writing, and maths at primary level
• Be proactive, reliable, and able to adapt to the needs of the class and individual pupils
• Show patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for helping children reach their potential
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills
