SEND Support Assistant Bradford Special Schools Location: Bradford Hours: Monday Friday 8:30am 3:30pm Term Time Only Pay: £12.07 £14.43 per hour (dependent on experience)PK Education are currently working in partnership with a number of specialist SEND schools across Bradford, supporting an increase in demand for high-quality support staff. We are seeking committed and resilient SEND Support Assistants to work with students who have severe and complex needs.This is a highly rewarding role for individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in education and supporting young people with additional needs.Key Responsibilities: Supporting students with complex SEND needs including ASD, PMLD, and physical disabilitiesProviding personal care where requiredAssisting with communication strategies, including non-verbal cuesSupporting learning, engagement, and emotional regulationWorking closely with teaching staff and therapists to deliver tailored support Essential Requirements: Minimum 24 months referenceable experience working with children or young peopleExperience supporting individuals with complex SEND needsMust be comfortable with personal careAble to commit to at least 4 days per week (Mon Fri)Available during school hours (8:30am 3:30pm)Must have the right to work in the UKEnhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one) What PK Education Offers: Competitive hourly rates in line with experienceOngoing support from experienced SEND ..... full job details .....
