OverviewAre you a caring individual who enjoys working with people? Join our community outreach team in Barrow. The role supports adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities to live independently, while offering emotional and practical support in line with individual support plans.
Responsibilities
Visit service users in their homes or other settings to provide practical assistance and emotional support.
Help with daily living tasks such as cooking, appointments, medication and money management.
Engage with service users to build trusting, therapeutic relationships.
Work flexibly within agreed rota; ability to lone work using your own initiative is essential.
Requirements / Qualifications
Car driver and car owner (or access to a vehicle) is essential; mileage allowance paid.
Successful completion of full training; opportunity to work towards QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
Location: United Kingdom; eligibility to work within the UK.
Employment details
Hours: full-time (37.5 per week) or part-time (22.5 per week) on a flexible rota.
