The role involves working closely with pupils in small classes, supporting them in overcoming barriers to learning through positive behaviour strategies, tailored interventions, and engaging activities.Responsibilities Providing 1:1 and small-group support to Primary or Secondary pupils with ASC or SEMH and associated needs. Using behaviour management skills to de-escalate challenging situations calmly and effectively. Acting as a mentor, building positive relationships to help pupils re-engage with learning. Supporting the delivery of bespoke educational and pastoral interventions. Encouraging emotional regulation, resilience, and independence.
