This role involves designing and implementing new products, continuously improving existing designs, and developing new technologies from concept through to completion.We are looking for a motivated individual who drives continuous improvement, works well within a team, maintains a positive attitude, and is committed to success. Experience in design for manufacturing (DFM) and proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks or similar) are essential.Key Responsibilities:Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).Manage product data using the Company''s Product Data Management (PDM) software (Vault), ensuring parts are accurately revised.Design and collaborate on new product implementations.Produce technical specifications, detailed drawings, and perform necessary calculations.Create parts within the Company''s Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.Provide engineering support across all business areas.Support and maintain the existing product range.Assist in generating Technical Files for CE/UKCA marking and other compliance requirements.Prepare documentation required for directives or legislative standards.Ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.Support New Product Development (NPD) timelines.Oversee and perform prototype machine testing.Skills and ..... full job details .....
