We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Level 3 ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive team at a well-established school in Aylesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people with ASC, offering both academic and emotional support to help them succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  Provide tailored support to students with ASC, both in group settings and on a one-to-one basis.

  Assist in creating a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment that promotes positive behaviour and emotional well-being.

  
  



• 
  

  Collaborate with teachers and support staff to plan and implement targeted interventions and personalised learning strategies.

  
  



• 
  

  Monitor students'' academic and emotional progress, providing regular feedback to the teaching team and suggesting areas for development.

  
  



• 
  

  Support the development of students'' social and emotional skills through well-planned and engaging activities.

  
  



• 
  

  Assist with the management and de-escalation of challenging behaviours, ensuring a calm and supportive environment.

  
  

Ideal Candidate:

• 
  

  Experience supporting children or young people with ASC is highly desirable.
