SMT Operator

Orion Electrotech are supporting an Electronics Manufacturing business, in search for the next SMT Operator to join their growing team.

As a SMT Operator, you can benefit from:

The responsibilities of the SMT Operator will include:

• Operate surface mount assembly machinery to support PCBA
• Monitor the process to ensure quality is consistent
• Preparing inventory, feeders, and materials for production runs
• Kit and de-kit SMT placements machines and set up programs
• Document aspects of the work order and read engineering drawings
•  

We are looking for a SMT Operator who:

• Has previous experience in an Electronics Manufacturing environment
• Understands surface mount machinery and PCB build processes (Desirable, not essential)
• Has a hands-on, proactive approach to their work
• Is comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel
