Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with an established manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Production Planner. Overall Purpose: Timely ordering of board to ensure availability in production, that enables the plant to achieve optimum OTIF and customer requirements. Scheduling machine line ups in order to optimise production (without compromising OTIF).Key Duties: Complete daily machine loadings and distribute.Arranging effective converter line ups.Monitoring plant loading and providing order updates / delivery dates to Sales and Transport.Liaising with despatch for them to optimise trailer utilisation. This includes bringing work forward, ensuring it doesn''t affect other deliveries.Maintaining shifts and Planned Maintenance in the Kiwi system.Monitoring and transferring any outstanding stock.Order board on a daily basis, ensuring all machines have availability, updating PCS with the relevant information.Producing and distributing the daily delivery schedule.Supplier complaints.Analyse the BIB report, taking necessary action where required.Monitoring and fixing of Kiwi suspect data.Provide holiday cover to the planning team and deputise in the absence of key members of the team.Always follow safety procedures and act on unsafe acts and conditions.Undergo training as required by the needs of the business.Carry out any other duties within the limits of training and capability.Attend daily planning meetings when required.Key Requirements: ..... full job details .....
