Senior Estates Surveyor Location: 1 Catford Road, Catford, London, SE6 4RU Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 9+ Months Working Hours: Mon Fri, 09 00, 37 Hours per week Pay Rate: £ 32.19 per hour Job Ref: OR8700 Responsibilities Support the Estates Manager in managing and controlling various valuation and estate functions. Identify new opportunities and secure agreement to pursue them. Manage procurement and other commercial processes to enable the valuation and estate staff to deliver required outcomes. Provide strategic leadership, direction, and management of the Corporate Property and Estates team. Ensure assets are efficiently and effectively utilized and fit for purpose in accordance with Council policies and best practices. Deliver the Council s estate management function for its property portfolio, including landlord and tenant matters such as lease negotiations, rent reviews, and valuations. Person Specification Proven experience in estate management and valuation functions. Strong leadership and strategic management skills. Excellent negotiation and communication abilities. Ability to manage procurement and commercial processes effectively. Knowledge of Council policies and best practices in estate management. Experience in managing a property portfolio and handling landlord and tenant matters.
