Consulting Quality Assurance Manager - 12 Months Maternity Cover at

RSM UK , Cambridge, United Kingdom.The Quality Assurance Department (QAD) is an independent department responsible for performing an annual programme of testing to provide assurance that key controls are designed and operating effectively, ensuring compliance with external regulations and standards, and internal procedures. The successful candidate will work with the Quality Assurance Associate Director and other managers in the team to deliver a programme of assurance activities to support the Consulting business and the wider firm. The role will require you to communicate with a wide range of individuals within QAD, the business, and other support departments. We operate a flexible hybrid-working model in the team, which can occasionally involve travel to other UK-based offices.Responsibilities

Completing Consulting reviews with focus on our Risk and Governance, Forensic and Business Transformation solutionsSupporting other QA reviewers with completion of reviews of other solutions, where necessaryCompleting other QA reviews and activities within Consulting as needed to provide required assurance to the Consulting business and wider firmIdentifying and delivering feedback to relevant parties, including examples of good practice, to support continuous improvement in quality, compliance and risk managementWorking with the Quality Assurance Associate Director and other QAD team members to identify and implement changes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the departmentQualifications

ACA / ACCA / CIA qualification (or can demonstrate qualified by experience)Internal Audit experience or Technical experience within the Risk and Governance, Forensic or Business Transformation solutionsGood oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues in a concise and understandable mannerAbility to perform analytical based testing and be able to adapt review approaches relevant to RSM and Consulting specific risksA challenging and sceptical mindset coupled with a high attention to detailWhat we can offer you
