Earthworks Supervisor required to work with a leading groundworks contractor on a project based in Braintree, Essex. This is a 10-week contract starting asap, overseeing earthworks operations and ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with programme. This position requires an experienced Supervisor with a strong background in earthworks who can coordinate plant, labour, and subcontractors while maintaining high health and safety standards on site. Key Responsibilities: Supervising day-to-day earthworks operations on site Coordinating plant, labour, and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently Monitoring progress against programme and reporting updates to the site team Ensuring works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and project requirements Maintaining strong health and safety standards across the site Liaising with site management and other members of the project team to ensure smooth delivery of works Attending site meetings and providing updates on progress and any issues affecting delivery Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience working as an Earthworks or Groundworks Supervisor Strong understanding of earthworks operations and site coordination Valid CSCS card required SSSTS or SMSTS preferred Strong communication skills and ability to manage subcontractors and site teams If you are well suited to this role, please apply through the link and we will contact you for a confidential discussion. ..... full job details .....
