Birtley Community Aquatic Centre Swimming pool lead leisure attendant full time post Full time: 37.5 hours per week including early and late weekday shifts and early weekend shifts Salary: Equivalent to NJC scale 4 - £25,119 pa to £25,545 pa, pay award pending Additional unsocial hours payment of £20 for each shift starting at 0500 (Fridays only) and £5 for each shift starting at 0545 (other weekdays) Background to Birtley Community Aquatic Centre Birtley Community Aquatic Centre is a community-focused facility dedicated to providing a high-quality and safe environment for swimmers of all ages and abilities. We reopened the pool in September 2024, following significant investment in the summer of 2024, including replacing the existing boilers and other items of pool equipment, refurbishing the water slide, buying a giant inflatable obstacle course and installing new LED lighting and security measures on all entry points.
