With a strong reputation, the company is seeking a dedicated Purchase Ledger Clerk to join its Accounts department on a part-time basis.Your new role As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and play a key role in the finance team. Your responsibilities will include:Matching purchase invoices to purchase ordersPosting stock and miscellaneous purchase invoices to SageLiaising with the Purchasing department and suppliers to resolve queriesProcessing month-end supplier payment runs and uploading for approvalHandling ad hoc supplier payments throughout the monthReconciling supplier statements and the USA transport spreadsheetCompleting credit application forms and setting up new supplier accounts in SageProviding cover and assistance in other finance-related tasks as neededWhat you''ll need to succeed A full driving licencePrevious experience in a Purchase Ledger roleProficiency in Sage 200 and Microsoft OfficeStrong attention to detail and excellent communication skillsWhat you''ll get in return You will join a supportive and professional team in a stable and growing company.
