Mental Health Social Worker

Location: London, Greater London (Hybrid)
Rate: -33.33 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours: Full-time

We are looking for an experienced Mental Health Social Worker to join a busy Adult Mental Health team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with adults with complex mental health needs, providing high-quality assessments, safeguarding interventions, and person-centred support to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of adults with complex mental health needs.
• Carry out Care Act assessments, reviews, and support planning.
• Undertake access and assessment duties and act as a keyworker.
• Investigate safeguarding concerns and complete safeguarding enquiries.
• Prepare social circumstances reports and maintain accurate case records.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, carers, and partner agencies to deliver coordinated care.

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Experience working within Adult Mental Health services.
• Previous access and assessment and keyworker experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Care Act, safeguarding, and adult social care legislation.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and case management skills.
