Weston and Sampson is seeking a motivated and experienced Full Stack Software Developer to drive innovative solutions for internal teams and clients. We are a dynamic engineering consulting firm with a small, collaborative software development team focused on building custom tools and platforms to support technical and field services. This role is based in Reading, MA.What You Will Do

As a Full Stack Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and Azure. You will work closely with engineers and analysts to create scalable tools that interface with various databases, APIs, and geospatial platforms.Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScriptBuild, manage, and deploy backend serverless functions using Python, Azure Functions, and Azure Web AppsIntegrate with various APIs and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across platformsDesign and manage databases with Azure SQL and MySQL, ensuring data integrity, security, and performanceCollaborate with a small team using GitHub for source controlIntegrate applications with geospatial platforms such as ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise (highly desirable)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver comprehensive integration strategiesEnsure application scalability, security, and maintainabilityWhat You Will Bring

Bachelor''s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field5–7 years of professional full stack development experience, with exposure in all phasesStrong proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScriptSolid backend experience using Python3–5 years web development with Azure Function Apps and Azure Web AppsProficient in relational databases (Azure SQL and MySQL preferred)Experience developing and consuming APIsFamiliarity with GitHub and source control best practicesStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a teamDemonstrated experience with RESTful API integration and system integrationExperience with ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise integrationExposure to Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelinesKnowledge of security and authentication best practicesSalary Range: $80,000-$100,000About Weston and Sampson
