Serving scientific, technical, and manufacturing sectors, we are seeking a proactive Service Technician to join our growing team.About the RoleBased at our Stroud facility, this role involves:- Nationwide service of WAYGATE AGFA STRUCTURIX Film Processors at customer sites.- Participation in LABINO light meter calibrations at Stroud from 2027 onwards for in-house calibrations.The successful candidate should live within a commutable distance of Stroud and will receive on-site mentorship from an experienced engineer (Birmingham-based), along with additional support from our Irish service team.Key Responsibilities- Install, commission, maintain, and repair film processors to manufacturer standards.- Perform Labino light meter calibrations and portable light repairs in-house.- Plan, schedule and document all your own service work, maintain clear communication, and manage spare parts and equipment records.- Work closely with sales teams to identify new service and sales opportunities.- Look after quotations, order fulfilment, technical consultations, and reporting of service metrics via CRM/ERP tools.What You Need- At least two years'' technical work experience (service experience desirable).- Strong electromechanical aptitude with problem-solving ..... full job details .....
