LD Residential Care Practitioner Location: Burton-on-Trent and Swadlincote Salary: £12.80 or £13.35 per hour if qualified, £70 per sleep in Job Purpose - Learning Disabilities Children''s Home The primary purpose of this role is to provide high-quality care, guidance, and support to children and young people with learning disabilities, ensuring their safety, dignity, and wellbeing at all times. You will attend to their practical, physical, communication, and emotional needs, using a person-centred approach. You will act as a positive role model, support young people to develop life skills, reduce anxieties, communicate effectively, and achieve the highest level of independence and personal development possible.
