Overview

I am currently looking for a HandS Advisor / Manager for a Main Contractor based in Central London who work in and around the London and the M25 area with a current turnover of circa 120 million. Projects include new build, refurbishment and fit out works within commercial, healthcare, education and residential on projects ranging between 2 to 20 million.My Client requires a HandS Manager that will able to undertake the below –Responsibilities

Promote and ensure continued site wide commitment to achieving consistently high standards in Health and Safety on the projectAdvise site management and site staff on Health and Safety mattersMaintain the IMS to relevant ISO standardsConduct site Health and Safety compliance inspections and auditsAssist in the production, monitoring and review of method statements, risk assessments and work package plansInvestigate accidents and incidents to identify root causeReview company and Sub–Contractors compliance paperworkAssist in the preparation of Health and Safety packsAssist in the preparation of Construction Phase plansRegularly review and update the Project Construction Stage Health and Safety PlanRegularly review and update the Project Fire Plan and Traffic Management PlanPromote behavioural safety initiatives with operatives and staffAttend Client Health and Safety meetings/forums as requiredUndertake weekly update to line managementQualifications

NEBOSH certificate Construction Health and SafetyMember of IOSH or equivalentMain contracting experienceMulti–sector experience (residential, industrial, commercial, education, healthcare)Compensation
