Submarine Safety ConsultantVarious locations - Bristol, Plymouth, Cardiff, Portsmouth, Falmouth and Liverpool) Paying between 55,000 - 75,000 (DOE) Key Responsibilities:Detailed working knowledge of relevant regulations and standards including Defence Safety Authority, Defence Nuclear Safety Regulations and Naval Authority Certification.Proven track record in the development of safety artefacts, including facilitating HAZID and risk assessments, development of safety cases, and supporting assessments.Proven and recent experience of undertaking detailed hazard and risk analysis utilising such techniques as SWIFT, HAZOP, FMECA, FTA, LOPA, etc.Proven track record in managing and delivering of complex technical projects and/ or multiple concurrent technical projectsProven track record in successfully delivering bidsSuccessful track record in providing business development support. Required Skillset:Nuclear SQEPCirca 4+ years in a consultancy environment.Circa 4+ years working in the Defence Nuclear Enterprise.Recent experience in acting as an Independent Safety Auditor/ AdvisorProven track record in developing and maintaining successful client relationships, securing enduring workstreamsExperience in staff managementDegree qualified in a relevant disciplineIdeally, be a Chartered engineer, Member of a relevant professional institution.
