Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and reliable Brake Press Setter/Operator to join our day shift team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in setting up and operating hydraulic and CNC brake press machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheet and plate. A commitment to safety, accuracy, and quality is essential. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate brake press machines to produce parts as per technical drawings and specifications Adjust machine settings, tooling, and backstops for various production runs Interpret engineering drawings, bend allowances, and tolerances Perform first-off inspections and ongoing quality checks during production Use measuring tools (verniers, calipers, protractors, gauges) to ensure parts meet specification Safely handle raw materials and finished parts Complete required production documentation accurately Carry out routine maintenance and report machine issues to maintenance teams Maintain a clean and safe working environment Support continuous improvement efforts in the production process Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience operating and setting up brake press machines (Amada, Bystronic, Trumpf, etc.) Strong understanding of press brake tooling, setups, and machine operation Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Familiar with quality control procedures and inspection tools Strong awareness of health and ..... full job details .....
