Rail Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:Lead the planning and delivery of structural examinations in accordance with Network Rail standards (e.g., NR/L3/CIV/006).Manage all phases of project delivery: scope definition, programme development, resource allocation, and execution.Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and contractors to deliver works safely, on time, and to quality requirements.Oversee the production, review, and submission of technical examination reports and structural assessments.Provide regular reporting on project progress, costs, risks, and issues to internal stakeholders and clients.Maintain accurate project documentation including programme updates, meeting records, risk registers, and change logs.Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, including CDM 2015.Support resource forecasting and planning across concurrent projects.Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Experience:Significant experience in rail infrastructure project delivery, particularly involving structural examinations or inspections.Strong understanding of Network Rail procedures, engineering assurance, and asset management frameworks.Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise updates for stakeholders.Experience working within project management methodologies (e.g., APM, PRINCE2).Relevant qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering (HNC/HND or degree level) - DesirablePersonal Track ..... full job details .....
