Highway InspectorBerkshire3-month contract£260 per day Are you an experienced Highway Inspector looking for a new challenge?An opportunity has arisen for a Highway Inspector to join a busy client in Berkshire. This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £260 per day, negotiable for the right candidate. Duties and Responsibilities: To undertake planned and reactive safety inspections of the highway including road openings and other work affecting the highway including monitoring the performance and ensuring quality of work of the Highways contractor. Control of day-to-day activities regarding basic maintenance operations and receive direction from the Senior Highway Inspection Officer in a variety of duties associated with the work of the Highway services. Generally, assist in providing a safe environment for members of the public and fulfilling the obligation as a Highway Authority under the Highways Act and other Legislation. Previous experience in Highways is essential for this role.
