SEN TA In Balsall Heath As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Providing one-to-one or small group support to pupils with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or learning delays. Collaborating with class teachers and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Supporting pupils with their social, emotional, and academic development. Using creative strategies to engage pupils and encourage positive behaviour. Fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere.Candidate RequirementsIdeal candidates should possess: Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or otherwise). A caring and patient nature, with excellent communication skills. The ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff. A proactive, flexible approach and willingness to work as part of a team.
