Your role will involve:

• Teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 available in some schools)

• Delivering engaging, well-planned lessons that build literacy, critical thinking, and creativity

• Using data to track student progress and inform targeted support

• Working collaboratively within a dedicated English department

• Promoting a positive attitude toward reading, writing, and communication

We''re looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS (or equivalent) and has experience teaching English in secondary schools

• Has excellent subject knowledge and a passion for the English curriculum

• Can build strong relationships with students and manage classroom behaviour effectively

• Is committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice

• Brings creativity, enthusiasm, and resilience to the classroom
