Assistant Site Manager – Bespoke Regional House Builder
Location: Swaffham, Norfolk

Our client is a well-established regional house builder with a proud reputation for crafting high-quality, individually designed homes across Norfolk and surrounding counties. As our business continues to grow, we’re seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join our friendly and professional team on a new residential development in Swaffham.

The Role

Working closely with the Site Manager, you’ll help deliver high-specification homes on time, on budget, and to their exacting standards. You’ll play a key part in daily site operations, coordinating trades, maintaining health and safety compliance, and ensuring quality workmanship throughout every stage of construction.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Site Manager with day-to-day site supervision and coordination
• Monitoring build progress and maintaining the construction programme
• Ensuring strict standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental control
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and the in-house team
• Assisting with customer handovers and defect management

About You

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager
• Ideally with experience in housing or bespoke residential development
• Strong working knowledge of NHBC standards and current building regulations
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications preferred
