The successful candidate will be required to: Help to design and modify drawingsProvide production supportManage projects and designs from concept stage through to productionProcess orders using an MRP systemHelp to write programmes on a Laser MachineOrganise design filesSupport the shop floor with any product issues In order to be considered for this role our client is looking for: Apprenticeship, NVQ or Degree in Engineering (or equivalent) Competent in AutoCad Ideally 2D experience In addition the successful Design Engineer will have experience of the design / drawing process and will have a high attention to detail. You will also have an knowledge of working to quality standards and have an understanding of the manufacturing process.
