Job Purposeandnbsp;
To assist inandnbsp;the preparation of monthlyandnbsp;management accounts andandnbsp;reconciliationsandnbsp;ofandnbsp;daily, weekly and monthly financial transactionsandnbsp;and to provide administrativeandnbsp;support and assist with any other ad-hoc financialandnbsp;related dutiesandnbsp;within a developing Finance Department.andnbsp;
Keyandnbsp;Accountabilities:andnbsp;
- Toandnbsp;complete:andnbsp;
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts packs forandnbsp;7 globalandnbsp;companiesandnbsp;
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts by company
- Prepare financial statements including consolidated group accounts
- Financial analysis to prepare Pandamp;L accounts by country
- Prepare WIP calculation by company
- Income statement review
- Accruals and prepayments
- Nominal postings review
- Stockandnbsp;and sales order processandnbsp;managementandnbsp;
- Stock take
- Intercompany invoicing
- Bank guarantees
- VAT returns
- Audit preperation
- To carry out any other ad hocandnbsp;reporting/tasksandnbsp;as requiredandnbsp;by the management teamandnbsp;andnbsp;
- To carry outandnbsp;general andandnbsp;ad hocandnbsp;administrationandnbsp;when necessary.andnbsp;
- To take shared responsibility for self-development and to identify training and resources required to support ongoing performance improvement.andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;
Qualifications/Experience:andnbsp;
- Over 5 years experience working in a financial environment up to the preparation of monthly management accounting/reconciliations.
- Part qualified accounting qualificationandnbsp;required.andnbsp;
- A levels or higher level qualifications as appropriate.andnbsp;
- Intermediateandnbsp;level of Microsoft Excelandnbsp;skillsandnbsp;including pivot tables,andnbsp;Sumifandnbsp;statements,andnbsp;Vlookupsandnbsp;and intermediate skills in other Microsoft Office programmes.andnbsp;
- Intermediate level of Internet Explorer, Microsoft Outlook and basic database packages.andnbsp;andnbsp;
- Experience of Microsoft Dynamics would be advantageous
- Experience of multi currency / multi company environments
