This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.ResponsibilitiesConduct assessments to identify clients'' needs and develop tailored support plans.Completing fostering and SGO compliant assessments of kinship carers, both initial viability assessments and full assessments.Giving evidence in court as required on completed assessments.Foster carer supervision of temporarily approved kinship foster carers.Presenting kinship carers to fostering panel to seek approval.ExperienceA recognised qualification in Social Work is essential.Previous experience in a social work setting is highly desirable.Demonstrated skills in supervising and mentoring others will be advantageous.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for effective client interaction.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.A solid understanding of relevant legislation and policies affecting social work practice is beneficial.BenefitsHybrid working - 1 day a week in the office 38 an hour Umbrella rateWe have 2 vacancies, 1 located within ..... full job details .....
