Year 5 Teacher

Swindon

Thursdays and Fridays

2 days per week

Salary is negotiable

We are currently recruting for a Year 5 class teacher to cover two days per week in a local primary school in Swindon. This role is part of a job share working alongside another class teacher, planning will be shared across you both.

This role is to cover from September in a job share on Thursday and Fridays for a Year 5 class.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach the children the curriculum, planning all classroom lessons shared with the co class teacher
• Be able to adapt lesson plans to work with different children needs and abilities.
• Provide feedback to parents, the school and the agency at the end of the day.
• Managing behaviour and maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere

Requirements:

• You must have a relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS etc)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A positive and compassionate attitude towards students
• A valid right to work in the UK
