Principal Manufacturing Engineer - Electronics Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer ready to take on a principal-level role within an electronics or electrical manufacturing environment? Our Nottingham-based client is looking for a hands-on engineer to lead improvements in calibration, compliance, and manufacturing processes to internationally recognised quality and technical standards. The Principal Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for: Reviewing and improving all aspects of product calibration, including setting up a new lab and gaining ISO17025 accreditation.Ensuring product compliance with international standards (e.G. Safety, EMC) and supporting approvals for new markets or applications.Leading on NPI and acting as the interface between RandD and manufacturing. Driving improvements in equipment, processes, instructions, and training.Supporting sub-contracting and outsourcing initiatives where technical and commercial benefits exist.Maintaining ISO9001:2015 UKAS accreditation and driving quality improvements through training, testing, and reporting.
