The successful candidate will deliver high-quality careers information, advice, and guidance (IAG) to help students make informed decisions about their academic and vocational pathways.This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and confident professional who enjoys working in a school setting and supporting students during key transition points.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide impartial and personalised careers advice and guidance to Year 9 and Year 11 students.Conduct one-to-one guidance sessions and group workshops where required.Support students in exploring education, training, and career options.Assist with GCSE and post-16 decision-making, ensuring students understand available pathways.Maintain accurate records of all guidance sessions in line with school and safeguarding policies.Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and senior leaders.Ensure all guidance provided meets statutory Careers Guidance standards and aligns with the Gatsby Benchmarks.Provide up-to-date labour market information (LMI) to help students make informed decisions.RequirementsFully qualified Careers Advisor (e.g. Level 6 or Level 7 Careers Guidance / QCG / CDI accredited ..... full job details .....
