You will work closely with design engineers and crew chiefs to fabricate, assemble, and repair critical vehicle components (such as roll cages, suspension members, exhaust systems, and chassis structures) where compromise is not an option. Key ResponsibilitiesPrecision Welding: Perform high-quality, defect-free TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding on specialized, thin-gauge motorsports materials including Chromoly (4130), Titanium, Inconel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel.Custom Fabrication: Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, CAD drawings, and schematics to fabricate custom, one-off components and assemblies from scratch.Chassis and Roll Cage Construction: Build, fit, and weld structural chassis components and roll cages to strict sanctioning body safety specifications (e.g., FIA, NHRA, IMSA).Machining and Prep: Utilize shop machinery (tubing benders, notchers, bandsaws, lathes, mills, and grinders) to prep materials to exact tolerances before welding.Quality Assurance: Conduct visual and ..... full job details .....
