We are currently recruiting an experienced Complex Healthcare Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care to a young male client with complex clinical needs. This is an ad hoc role, ideal for HCAs with experience in complex care who are looking for flexible work. Client Profile The client has the following diagnoses: Epilepsy Recurrent chest infections Severe cognitive impairment Clinical Needs and Equipment The successful candidate will be confident supporting the following clinical needs and equipment: PEG feeds and PEG management Oxygen use (night-time) Secretion management Seizure monitoring Cough assist Nebuliser Standing frame Care Tasks Personal care Clinical observations PEG management and feeding Mobility assistance and use of equipment Monitoring and responding to changes in condition Requirements Previous experience in complex care (essential) Confidence with PEG care and seizure management Valid right to work in the UK Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) Up-to-date mandatory/CSTF training (preferred) Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach ..... full job details .....
