Job Description

TThis is a great opportunity to be part of MediaTek’s highly experienced global RF team working on state-of-the-art 5G RF products in advanced CMOS processes.

Your responsibilities will include the specification, architecture design, circuit design, implementation and verification of complete sub-systems for 5G mmWave ICs. Your focus will be on developing innovative architectures and circuits with leading edge performance and excellent results on first silicon.

Qualifications And Essential Skills

Masters'' graduate or PhD in a closely related fieldMinimum 5 years relevant industrial experienceProven track record of delivering CMOS mmWave transceivers to mass productionExcellent knowledge of RF system analysis and specificationStrong experience with 2.5D and 3D EM simulation toolsExperience with optimisation of mmWave circuit layoutExperience with design in advanced CMOS technologies (28nm or below)Strong analytical skillsAn innovative thinker with a passion for challenging technical problem solvingHighly motivated and results driven to see projects through to completionA strong team player able to collaborate on complex projects as well as successfully working independentlyAble to communicate effectively with people across different timezones and culturesExcellent time management and organisation skills

Desirable Skills

Experience with Cadence Analog Design EnvironmentGood understanding of RF performance requirements for cellular systemsExperience with mmWave IC testingCompetent in data analysis using Matlab and/or Python

Our UK mmWave Design Team is located in Cambourne, Cambridgeshire. This location offer an excellent choice of living environments from local new housing developments to traditional rural villages or the vibrant city of Cambridge.
