London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Locum £39.04 per hour Hybrid Working (3 Days in Borough) The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham is seeking an experienced Consultant Social Worker to join their Adolescent Team. This is a senior practice role supporting adolescents with complex needs, risk, and vulnerability, while also contributing to high-quality practice across the service. You will hold a small caseload of up to 12 young people and will also be responsible for supervising social work students. The role requires a strong presence in the borough, with a minimum of 3 days per week, including either Monday or Friday, to support effective multi-agency working and practice development. In this role, you ll provide expert social work input, support reflective practice, and help drive positive outcomes for adolescents through relationship-based and strengths-informed approaches.
