Save jobMy client, an international Financial Services firm, based in London, are looking for a Technology Risk specialsit to join their growing team.About the Technology Risk Specialist role:My client is looking for a well-versed Tech Risk specialist to join the growing teamiKey responsibilities include:Deliver a consistent, effective and efficient approach to risk and control management working with colleagues from across Technology and the other divisions for the Technology department assigned to this role.Support Technology’s engagement with the 2 nd and 3 rd line of defence.Represent Technology Risk and Control and CCO in working groups as required.Conduct risk assessments and control evaluations to identify gaps and process inefficiencies. Contribute to risk appetite statements and emerging risks.Work with other Risk and Controls specialists within the team to ensure that the team as a whole is consistent in our approach to addressing risk and control matters and is adding value.Oversee key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business risk exposure. Review/challenge breaches to understand root causes, consult on lessons learned exercises and work with business owners to develop a ‘path to green’ where appropriate.Provide input into reporting on the results of the risk and control activity.Escalate risks and control concerns to the Risk and Control Lead.Support the engagement with Technology senior management, other divisions and the 2 nd and 3 rd line on risk and control matters and escalations.Ensure timely closure of issues actions and audit findings.Contribute to Technology division risk and control improvement activity, including process mapping.Demonstrate a strategic mindset and broad perspective. Able to see the big-picture and link individual activities to the wider landscape.Be a catalyst for change, driving and cultivating innovation.
