We are looking for a number of Grounds Maintenance operatives in the Cannock area! MUST HAVE DRIVING LICENCE Responsibilities Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for various gardening tasks. Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, and trees. Irrigate gardens and lawns to ensure proper hydration and growth. Build and maintain garden structures such as raised beds or trellises as needed. Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair. Maintain equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and performing basic mechanical repairs when necessary. Collaborate with team members to complete larger landscaping projects efficiently. Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Physical stamina to perform manual labour, including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods. Attention to detail with a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. A valid driving licence is required for operating grounds maintenance vehicles.
