A global solar client of ours are looking for a HSE Manager for their large-scale ground mount solar farm project in the Kent area.This will be a contract role starting ASAP and you MUST have previous experience of working in a health and safety management position on a ground mount solar farm. Key Responsibilities:Monitor existing and incoming health and safety legislation in the UK to ensure compliance across project sitesDevelop, maintain, and continuously improve the HandS Management System in line with UK regulations, client requirements, and ISO 45001Assess and analyse risks associated with the work schedule and site activitiesPerform gap analyses and define minimum HandS certification standards for employees and subcontractorsMaintain certification and competence records for all site-based personnelEnsure the company''s health and safety policies are implemented and followed on siteEvaluate pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs) from suppliers and subcontractorsReview and revise Construction Phase Plans and project-specific HandS documentationReview RAMS submitted by internal teams, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure suitabilityConduct regular on-site HandS audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with the Construction Phase Plan and CDM obligationsIssue corrective and preventive actions and follow up to ensure implementationAct as HandS liaison for Principal Designers, client-side HandS managers, and subcontractorsLead and support investigations into ..... full job details .....
