Amazon is seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our team at the Fulfillment Center (FC) in MAN2, Warrington.

Key responsibilities include:

Design, troubleshoot, and document control solutions for material handling systems.

Act as a liaison for internal and external resources.

Provide training to RME Technicians on device troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance.

Manage projects, communicate effectively, and multitask in a dynamic environment.

Develop specifications, perform PLC diagnostics, and modify PLC ladder code.

Work with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLCs and AutoCAD for electrical schematics.

Ensure adherence to safety and industry standards such as QS 9000, ISO 9001.

Document system changes and maintain control system documentation on SharePoint.

Basic qualifications:

5+ years of experience in control systems, including PLC design, development, and support.

Experience with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLCs.

Proficiency in AutoCAD for control layout and schematics.

Strong analytical skills and teamwork orientation.

High school diploma or equivalent; fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications:

Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

Advanced experience in industrial engineering, project management, and implementation.
