Mechanical Fitter - Taunton - Somerset 30,000 - 35,000Overtime available, 33 days holiday, training and development opportunities We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter for a world-renowned manufacturing company based in Somerset. You will be responsible for building and assembling a wide range of machines to engineering drawings and bespoke industry standards Role and Responsibilities: Assemble components according to specifications and engineering drawings.Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.General assembly of small sub-assemblies to larger sections.Running pneumatic and hydraulic pipeworkKnowledge, Skills and Experience: Fully time-served mechanical fitter/engineer.Must hold a mechanical engineering qualification.Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly and fabrication tasks.Experience using machine tools is an advantage.Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.Experience working with pneumatics and hydraulics.Fabrication experience would be an advantage.
