Overview

An opportunity for a Band 7 Senior Specialist Dietitian to join the North East London NHS Foundation Trust All Age Eating Disorder Team. The post involves working in a multidisciplinary all-age specialist Community Eating Disorder team, delivering evidence-based dietetic support to adults, children and young people, their carers and families. The team is committed to providing high-quality service to enable service users to live the life they want and to influence the success of the service.Responsibilities

Manage dietetic assessments and record information accurately on information systems; carry out specialist assessments and interventions.Liaise with families, health care professionals, internal and external agencies to organise clinical appointments and multi-disciplinary meetings; attend professional meetings or ward rounds as required.Manage a caseload and work closely with the MDT, particularly dietetic colleagues in the team.Service Area

The All-Age Eating Disorder Service main hub is in Barking, with coverage across the four North East London Boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge and Waltham Forest.Additional Information

COVID-19 Vaccination: Staff are encouraged to be double vaccinated and receive boosters as the best defence for patients, staff and families.Probationary Period: This post is subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt unless currently part way through probation or a bank member of staff.Starting with NELFT: New starters join on the first Monday of each month and undergo a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, including mandatory and systems training, with opportunities to meet executives and attend drop-in sessions. Induction is at the Trust head office in Rainham, Essex.High-Cost Area Supplement – Outer London: This post attracts a 15% High-Cost Area Supplement of the basic salary, with a minimum payment of £4,714 and a maximum of £5,941 pro rata for part-time staff.Other Information
