About the role The role requires legal accountability for delivering high-quality services to vulnerable individuals in their own homes, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being. This includes maintaining compliance with all statutory obligations, upholding regulatory standards, and fostering ethical service provision. Additionally, the position involves providing leadership coverage in the absence of both the CEO, ensuring continuity in decision-making and operational oversight to sustain organisational effectiveness. Though the position does not have direct line management of care staff, they are responsible for upholding the high standards required by local councils and CQC, in addition to other authorities and therefore should work closely with the Head of Care Services to implement best practice and standards across the organisation. Responsibilities Ensuring the provision of high-quality services to vulnerable people in their own home To ensure that all Service Users undergo appropriate initial assessments including care needs assessments and health and safety risk assessments To ensure that appropriate records of assessments are maintained and that actions required to mitigate risks are carried out.
