As Technical Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving growth by identifying and developing new customer accounts, nurturing existing client relationships and providing technical solutions in line with the company\''s manufacturing capabilitiesIn the role of Technical Sales Manager, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, engineers and procurement teamsIdentify and target new business opportunities across a broad range of market sectorsPrepare and deliver technical sales presentations and proposals that align with customer needs and manufacturing capabilitiesUnderstand customer technical requirements and translate them into feasible injection moulding solutionsOffer guidance on material selection, mould design and production methods to optimize part quality and cost efficiencyManage the sales process from initial inquiry to order, including RFQs, quotations, costings, and contract negotiationsStay updated with the latest trends in polymer materials, injection moulding technologies, tooling innovations, and market dynamicsExperience Requirements
Candidates MUST HAVE proven experience of technical sales within injection moulding or plastics manufacturingDemonstrable experience of growing business from existing customers, established contacts and new market opportunitiesGood understanding of injection moulding processes, tooling and polymer materialsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings (CAD) and engineering documentationExcellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skillsCommercial acumen with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targetsComfortable working in a small team with a self motivated, proactive approachWillingness and capability to grow into greater responsibilities within the roleStrong problem solving and analytical skillsKey Words
