Planning Engineers are responsible for all activities associated with the preparation and periodic progress reporting of Level 1 and Level 2 schedulesSupport the project teams with all planning related responsibilities associated with the management of their contracts and reporting requirementsParticipates and supports the project teams in project and programme planning and progress meetingsIdentifies and maintains programme / project milestone and schedule interface activitiesMain challenges of the job

Support the planning and scheduling processes that are required to manage contracts and contractor schedulesSupport the programmes progress and reporting requirementsMaintains up to date and accurate schedule interface requirementsAdherence to NEC contract processes for management of schedule data and submissionsMaintain an awareness of commitments and undertakings and support efforts to manage the requirements to avoid breachQualifications

Degree qualified in a construction related subject (preferred)Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and analysis, in the field and the home officeSkilled in oral and written communicationProficiency with PC operating systems and basic software applicationsProficiency with multiple discipline specific software applications such as Primavera (P6) and Microsoft OfficeIntermediate knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processesKnowledge of engineering and construction managementAdditional Information
