W Talent are exclusively recruiting on behalf of a large, well-established manufacturing business located in Belper, Derbyshire who are looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a dynamic team within a high-tech, fast-paced production environment. This role offers a competitive salary between -40,000 and -46,500 and operates on a Monday to Friday rotating shift pattern, covering mornings, afternoons, and nights.

Role Overview

As a key member of the maintenance team, you will provide multi-skilled engineering support across the facility. You''ll work on a wide range of machinery from automated presses to robotic systems ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance in accordance with the site plan.
• Respond swiftly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain production flow.
• Conduct fault diagnosis and repair across mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.
• Accurately document maintenance activities for audit and compliance purposes.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving projects.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with current health and safety legislation.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a multi-skilled maintenance engineering role is essential.

• Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive and flexible approach.
• Willingness to work across rotating shifts (mornings, afternoons, nights).
