EYFS Teacher (Reception) andndash; Sittingbourne
One of our favourite partner schools, a warm and welcoming two-form entry primary in Sittingbourne, is on the lookout for a Reception Class Teacher whoandrsquo;s ready to shape tiny minds with big dreams. Theyandrsquo;re collaborative, creative and truly believe in kindness (and coffee). If phonics makes you feel fizzy with excitement and you get misty-eyed over play-based learning, we want you!
Contract: September 2025 until at least May 2026
Salary: andpound;163 - andpound;223 per day
Key Responsibilities
- Create a stimulating and safe environment for Reception children to grow and thrive
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
- Support children''s social, emotional, and academic development through play and structured learning
- Assess progress and provide feedback that celebrates the little wins and builds confidence
- Collaborate closely with your year group partner and wider school teamandmdash;there''s no lone wolves here
- Contribute to planning and development meetings (theyandrsquo;re creative and supportive, we promise!)
- Embrace school values and contribute to a nurturing and inclusive ethos
Qualifications andamp; Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Proven experience in an EYFS setting, preferably Reception class
- Strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Framework
- Creative mindset with a passion for learning through play
- Excellent communication skills with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Positive, flexible attitude with a team-player approach
