Primary Responsibilities for the Test Engineer role: Follow test protocols, procedures, and scripts to systematically evaluate instrument functionality, accuracy, precision, and reliability. Identify, isolate, and report defects or anomalies, collaborating closely with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Maintain accurate records of test results, defects, and troubleshooting processes. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing testing processes, methodologies, and automation. Requirements for the Test Engineer role: Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree desirable but not essential. A Levels, ONC, City and Guilds level 3, BTEC National Diploma Level 3 or 4, or equivalent NVQ level 3 qualification. Experience in testing and validation of scientific instruments, electronics, or complex systems. Prior experience in elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, or related fields is a plus.
