WSP in the UK and IrelandOur Energy Networks business is home to over 200 professionals across the UK and beyond, covering Off-Shore Electricity Transmission, On-Shore Electricity Transmission and Distribution. We deliver crucial national electricity infrastructure and work with partners including TNO’s, DNO’s, Contractors and Developers. The Networks team plan, design and deliver new connections and network reinforcements to enable green investment and new technologies. Our team operates with a flexible hybrid setup and is supported with training, mentoring for chartership and a positive culture.Responsibilities
Delivering Civil and Structural Designs for Cable, Substation and other TandD solutions spanning UK and International Grid Connection, Energy Storage and Renewable Generation projects.Developing designs and undertaking design coordination.Qualifications
The interest to coordinate and work with other departments to provide complete Civil Engineering solutions that includes Geotechnical, Foundations, Structures, Buildings, Drainage, Fence, Lighting, Heating and Ventilation etc.In depth knowledge of Civil Engineering and Construction for Substation and Cable projects.A Chartered Civil Engineer status with experience in Transmission and Distribution sector.Experience in developing scope and functional requirement documents – for design, construction, and surveysExperience in producing and reviewing tender specifications.Don’t quite meet all the criteria?
