Our client, a leader in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a skilled FC/ASW Mission Planning and Control Lead Architect to join their team in Stevenage. This is a critical role within a dedicated and driven systems engineering team, focusing on delivering Mission Planning and Control products for FC/ASW TP15 - a highly complex and significant weapon system that provides both future cruise and anti-ship capabilities across the UK and multiple international partners.Key Responsibilities:Generate all architectural artefacts within the boundary of TP15 Mission Planning and ControlGuide other architects within the team to maximise modularity and re-use across multiple product offeringsSupport and influence the design process through effective collaborationCollaborate across various teams to achieve overarching project objectivesEnsure all activities are delivered on time, on cost, and on qualityJob Requirements:Strong background in complex systems architecture, including practical experience with MBSEUnderstanding or experience of key architectural principles in a product line environmentProficiency with Rhapsody (essential) and SysMLExperience with IBM Engineering Workflow Management (formerly Rational Team Concert)Familiarity with DOORS Next Generation is idealExcellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationshipsLeadership and influencing capabilities to coordinate activities across multi-skilled teamsAbility to learn rapidly and tackle ..... full job details .....
