Position OverviewWe are seeking a Medical Information Specialist to join our growing UK operations. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with leading pharmaceutical companies and contribute to delivering accurate, evidence-based medical information.
Key Responsibilities
Complete product and therapy area training; maintain up-to-date knowledge of assigned products and therapy areas.
Adhere to client-specific procedures for handling inquiries and preparing Global Response Documents (GRDs).
Use designated systems for inquiry management and GRD development/approval.
Monitor inquiry inboxes, ensuring timely response as per client guidelines.
Conduct literature searches on databases such as PubMed, EMBASE, and Google Scholar.
Define search parameters and select keywords relevant to the inquiry topic.
Evaluate search results and identify key references.
Critically assess references to extract relevant clinical/scientific information.
Draft and update GRDs in line with the latest style guide and templates.
Candidate Profile
Qualification: Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience in medical information, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
Strong writing skills in a medical/healthcare communications setting.
Proven ability to interpret and analyse clinical/scientific data.
Excellent attention to detail with high accuracy standards.
Strong commitment to client service and results delivery.
